Rumours of the heather in flower, and a favourable forecast tempted me to head to Higgar Tor - for a little Wild Mountain T(hy/i)me. I was watching some stunning golden light playing on the hills as I drove through Hope valley... but arrived at precisely the same time as the clouds did.

There was, however, a small gap between the clouds and the horizon, so I was hopeful for a short burst of light, and sure enough...
