Walking through Padley Gorge in the Peak District National Park, it was hard to find a simple scene to photograph some autumn colours. Hoever, on a slight clearing above the gorge was an old oak, already having lost most of its leaves. The sun was catching on the moss on the branches, giving them a golden outline while making the leaves glow orange. A slight haze of mist softened the background.
