During the Coronavirus lockdown, I knew I wasn't going to be able to get out in the Peak District or surrounding areas, so I set myself a challenge. Starting from 20th March, #ProjectGoldfinch charted my attempts to photograph the birds (mainly goldfinches) which visit our feeders and any other garden wildlife.

Mainly using my Sigma 150-600mm and a long shutter release, I set out to get shots of the birds in flight, hopefully exhibiting some behaviour too. It's a very hit and miss process and this is a shot from Day 42!
