We were staying in Mid-Wales and had a couple of outings to the Brecon Beacons - the first of which was to Blaen-y-Glyn. We stopped for a break in the hike by this fall, and I spent some time shooting it.  

I loved how the water cascaded around the branch leaning against the falls - I wanted the branch to stand out so used a much longer shutter speed than I normally would, smoothing the water out completely.

All the images on my site are ones I'm pleased with - but among them are very few which have extra meaning for me in that they were taken on trips out with the family. This is one such image. There is something very special for me in being able to show my family an image where they were present for its making.
