Waterfall Swallet

A gorgeous hidden gem.

A swallet is a sinkhole (I guess there's a link to the word 'Swallowed' in there) and this one is hidden by a copse of trees, leading to many folk refering to it as the Hidden Waterfall. You'd never know it was there if it wasn't for the rushing water that's just audible from the road (and/or google maps).

I've wanted to visit for a while, and after the recent spell of unseasonably wet weather I thought it would be a good opportunity. Normally, waterfalls are best in winter, but the surrounding trees would be bare and unappealing - a wet few days in summer made for a lovely green glow to the scene.
