Waxing Crescent at Sunset

A quick glance out of the back window sent me running for the camera - the waxing moon was nestled between strips of high cloud - initially lit in orange, but as the light was falling they changed to cotton-candy pink.

Lovely to be able to capture moments like this from home - if it's one thing lockdown has taught me, it's that there are many beautiful things to see even at home. That doesn't mean I'm not longing to get back out to the hills though...
